Global peace, justice, and inclusivity goals are distant, with many in conflict areas. By 2019, 79.5 million were forcibly displaced, highlighting global challenges. COVID-19 exposed inequalities and weakened rights and protection systems. Data from 120+ countries show bribery exposure is highest in low-income areas (37.6%) compared to 7.2% in high-income regions. Between 2006 and 2020, nearly one in six businesses globally faced bribe requests from public officials.
